Joseph Staffetti, MD
Joseph Staffetti, M.D. is a specialist in Gastroenterology. He is board certified in Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He completed his training in Gastroenterology at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in Newark.
He served on the staff at the Long Island College Hospital in Brooklyn where he was an Instructor of Medicine at The State University of New York Health Science Center at Brooklyn, and taught Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology to physicians in training. He also taught advanced endoscopic procedures to Gastroenterologists in training and to those already in practice.
Dr. Staffetti was raised in the New York City area and received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Columbia University in New York City and medical degree from the University of Texas, Southwestern Medical School in Dallas. He completed Internship and Residency in Internal Medicine at the Brown University Program in Providence, Rhode Island.
Dr. Staffetti is an active member of the American Medical Association, the Florida Medical Association, the American College of Gastroenterology, the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, and the American Gastroenterological Association.
